September – Taking a stand & having your voice heard

The September theme of “Taking a Stand and Having your Voice Heard” was at the forefront of our monthly presentation. EDGE US and EDGE Canada worked throughout the month on developing content that asked our employees to share their voice.

We quickly realized that this wasn’t always easy but got people discussing and pushing boundaries. We looked further into the act of taking a stand and realized there is a skillset involved in positioning yourself and being heard. The result was our September presentation topic of “Having Hard Conversations”.

The presentation highlighted common difficult conversations in the workplace and the tools that help guide employees to have the confidence to lead a productive conversation. We ended the presentation by honoring the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a women who never backed down and may not have always been liked but was heard.
