This week we caught up with Kate Kane.

Q: What do you do at Public Label?
A: I work across both the strategy and account teams on our Experiential Marketing programs. Recently, I’ve been working on a Tik Tok influencer program for Spectrum Internet and an at-home test drive program for Lincoln Motor Company (this job never gets boring)!

Q: What do you like the most about Public Label?
A: Public Label has opened the door for me to work on the things I’m most passionate about.

Q: Tips for anyone looking to get into your line of work?
A: My freshman year of college, the founder of our business school came in a spoke to all the incoming students. He took us through an exercise and told us to write down our “Why” on a scrap of paper along with the date and to tuck it away in our wallet for safe keeping. I look back at it often as a much needed reminder and source of guidance.

So, my tip would be: get super clear about what you want and why you want it and then, go after it ferociously. Also, be sure to make lots of friends along the way.

Q: If you could be anyone for a week, who would it be?
A: I would love to be some type of sea animal for a week… maybe a shark or an octopus. I’d be able to explore areas of the ocean that no humans have ever gone before!

Q: What is one fun fact about yourself?
A: If you google “Kate Kane,” you’ll find out that I share a name with Batwoman. I try to channel her superhero vibes whenever I’m feeling a little lazy.
