Culture

we are public label

E Pluribus Unum. We’ve all heard this phrase before. It’s Latin for “out of many, one”. We believe this phrase perfectly captures the spirit at Public Label. An agency created to encourage people to do the best work of their lives. In order to do this, we created a set of values to promote a culture of people who are motivated, dedicated, committed, passionate, courageous, accountable, dependable, passionate, optimistic, hungry, humble and above all, creative.
We are Public Label.

our values:
we create with courage
we embrace curiosity
we celebrate individualism and
seek out differences
we are committed to cultural impact
we execute with precision
we prove our worth

diversity & inclusion
we care

Our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is embedded in our values and shows up in each of us every day. We recognize that we are dealing with systemic issues that require education and thoughtful shifts in how we approach our work, our clients, our communities and each other. It is not a box to check. It is a practice that needs continuous attention and can always be improved.

Our D&I Committee is set up to lead those shifts to encourage a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment. This group creates and implements initiatives and policies that foster a welcoming, inclusive and supportive workplace where each team member is encouraged to succeed regardless of gender, race, culture, nationality, ethnicity, color, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, family status or level of ability. We celebrate all those things that make us different and value the positive impact that diverse perspectives have on the work we create and deliver to our clients.

This Month

EDGE’s theme for Q2 was ‘Getting Personal’, with June focusing on our employees’ wellbeing on the personal finance management front.

We wrapped up the quarter with a workshop led by Jenn Uhen of the Pledgettes, where she, as our “financial mentor,” did a fantastic job of guiding us through “healthy, wealthy money conversations.”

This Month
i create, therefore i am
perception is reality
only you can create your own happiness
tout est possible
work harder than kris jenner
assume positive intent
serve humbly. learn constantly. live intentionally.
gotta get pucks in deep and take it one game at a time
if it scares you, it might be a good thing to try
surround yourself with people who bring you joy
sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory
be the example you wish to see
make it happen
just rip it off like a bandaid
a closed mouth don’t get fed
if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten
come hell or hot yoga, put down your phone & pick up your practice
routine is our biggest enemy
